„CONTENT, EXCHANGE AND INSPIRATION“

Anita Tillmann about all PREMIUM GROUP shows

“We are on exactly the right track with our focal topics and concepts on the subject of Digitalisation, Sustainability and Retail Experiences. The feedback was overwhelmingly very positive. The concepts we have developed in recent months are spot on the contemporary pulse and there is considerable need for dialogue between all the parties. At PREMIUM we succeeded in breathing life into a new dynamic with the new brand mix in the halls and the focus on key looks. The stands looked truly amazing and a lot of time had clearly been spent working on the collections, too. The buyers loved the overall impact of this. They felt better appealed to, oriented – and entertained.

The PREMIUM GROUP stands for content, communication and inspiration. The feedback on the quality of the visitors to PREMIUM, SHOW&ORDER X PREMIUM and SEEK resonated overwhelmingly positively. Visitors are taking new trends and contacts home with them. There were buyers visiting from Stylebop, Macy’s or Caliroots.

The programme of speakers at #FASHIONTECH BERLIN was first-rate, and the talks, masterclasses and interactive exhibitions delivered fascinating insights into the industry of tomorrow.

The mind shift in society and the demand from consumers with regard to taking a new stance towards sustainability is having a major impact on our industry. The Game-Changer think tanks, i.e. the amalgamation of brands on the topic, was a first step. My personal approach of 1+1 making 11 was taken very seriously; and the next steps and strategies are in plan.

The concept at SHOW&ORDER X PREMIUM is targeted at the upheaval in retail. Here, light, sound, food and smaller lifestyle products play a role for the till area, since these often make the critical difference and offer retailers ideas for ways in which they can stand out from the crowd. The Kühlhaus provides an incredible backdrop for inspiration as ever.

The SEEK family is responding to the new topics and challenges in the industry as a community. Whether on the premises of the Trade Union or in the bustling aisles of the Arena: intergenerational communication was at the forefront and – as usual – was celebrated long after the official opening hours of the trade show drew to a close. The large number of sustainable SEEK brands are experiencing a real boom in order numbers due to the fast-growing target audience.

For us at the PREMIUM GROUP the next few months are all about intensive communication with the key players in the industry, to enable us to deliver in January as well. The summer has shown that Digitalisation, Sustainability and Retail Experiences are the topics and challenges of our time. We work methodically and enthusiastically on replicating and developing these themes at our shows. It’s only when we consolidate our strengths and work together that we can set the course for a successful future.”

Over the three days of the trade shows circa 1,000 brands exhibited their SS20 collections over 21,000 m2to an international clientèle, and used the contact with buyers, media representatives and other industry insiders to amass new business trends. Nothing is quite as sustainable as face-to-face communication and direct feedback. We the communications team at the PREMIUM GROUP are likewise reliant on this to help us operate in the best possible way for everyone involved. We’re therefore looking forward to an exciting and constructive period of time between seasons. The next trade shows will take place between 14-16 January 2020 at the usual locations of STATION-Berlin, the Kühlhaus and Arena Berlin.
